Worship 10:00AM
1111 West 14th Street

(map and directions)

Every Sunday we gather to worship our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in prayer, song, communion and a Biblically based message. This a time in which we desire to authentically connect with God and one another. We thank God for what he has done as well as anticipate the many things that he seeks to do in and through our lives.

What to expect

We invite you to come as you are. There is no dress code and all are welcome!

You’ll find a group of people who love to be together and love to worship God.  Part of our time together draws from our rich Christian history. We value the deep roots of the Christian faith as expressed in ancient creeds, prayers and songs as well as forms of worship shared by Christians through the ages.   At the same time, we value new and creative expressions of worship and spontaneous prayer.  We have a passion for knowig and understanding God’s word and believe his Holy Spirit is present with us and at work in powerful ways. We come with a sense of expectation that God will speak and act every Sunday.

The Sunday service typically lasts an hour and fifteen minutes and is followed by a gathering time with refreshments in the Education Building or, weather permitting, on the deck.

There is no dress code at Apostles. Those who attend wear anything from jeans and sport shirts or blouses to coat and tie or dresses. Our goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable during your visit hear at Apostles. Please dress as you would feel comfortable.

Family Worship and Children

When we say family worship, we don’t just mean parents and kids. Jesus taught us that faith in him makes us all family and he calls us to worship God as family. So no matter who you are or what season of life you are in, there is a place and need for you at Apostles.

This also means we love having children in worship. Kids of all ages are welcome to join us. During the service we offer a special time of teaching and worship for K-5th grade called Kids’ Time. They’ll leave before the sermon and return before communion. Children infants up to pre-K4 are invited to be in our nursery care called SonShine Kids.
